Meet the Leadership Team
We are passionately following Jesus as his “body” here on earth. The Bible tells us in Colossians chapter 1 that “[Jesus] is the head of the body, the church.” We strive to live out our lives as if Jesus were walking alongside us. We aren’t perfect, but in our imperfections we see our need for Jesus and do our best to spread his message. We do this the best way we know how: By loving each other, and loving the community around us.
Jeremy and Mallory Melcher-Post were married in 2013. Jeremy grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where he was met by disciples and then baptized into the Phoenix campus ministry when he was a sophomore in college in 2008. As volunteers, Marc and Gia Shay are excited to serve the San Diego Church of Christ Singles as Congregational Ministry Coordinators. Marc and Gia met in the Orange County Singles Ministry, dated while in the group and continued serving in the Singles group for 5 years after they were married in 2004. They moved to San Diego in 2014. Marc works full time in Talent Acquisition for one of the world’s largest banks and Gia is an entrepreneur with a background in Sales.
